Welcome! Please search or browse our inventory of hard to find, out of print, used, and rare books. If you can't find what you like please fill out our off-line "Book Requests" form and we will search our off-line inventory, other bookstores and book search services for you.
We are also a seller of new books (listed here as well), and if you are searching for a title currently in print, please let us know & we can special-order it for you. Please know we have many more books in stock than are on our website.
(Please understand this is only a tiny sampling of what we carry and what we can find or order. Our new store is up & running, but we are still getting to know our new customers, unearthing treasures, shelving books, etc. We are not yet putting our inventory online (we need more hours in the day!), but we are getting new books in every day. Real and virtual gift certificates are also available in any amount you wish and can be mailed (or emailed) to the happy recipient of your choice. :)
We are always interested in purchasing quality used and antiquarian books from estates, academic collections, libraries, and, of course, from our customers who keep us in business! We seek old & new, big & little, solid books to flimsy ephemera (maps, prints, autographs, periodicals, pamphlets, old sheet music, etc.) As a cautionary note, never toss out anything of a paper nature without having us or another reputable bookseller advise you first. Something that may seem worthless to you may be a treasure to someone else!
For substantial or promising unusual collections, we will travel at least anywhere in the Maritime provinces.
As well, we offer appraisals of collections for insurance, tax, and other purposes. Please contact us for more details.
